Telecommunication/Cargo Delivery

The whole province is serviced by the Globe and Smart Telecommunication companies. Cellsites are established in the two Cities of Isabela and Lamitan, and the municipalities of Maluso, Sumisip, Tipo-Tipo, Lantawan and Tuburan. While the City of Isabela is also served by the state -owned Provincial Telephone System (PTS) inter-connected with PLDT which line enables one to make long distance and overseas calls. Lamitan City is also catered by PTS and PLDT wireless. Internet Café are available in the cities of Isabela and Lamitan while Maluso is being served by SMART Bro Internet, see Table 7.2.3-Telecommunications, by Classifications.

Mails and cargoes are coursed through the Bureau of Post, LBC Air Cargo and Fast Pack. The Bureau of Telecommunication caters only to Isabela and Lamitan Cities and Maluso. Print Media, like local and national newspapers and magazines are circulated daily in the poblacion, but sourced out from Zamboanga City.  There are local cable stations in the twin cities that cater viewing, while FM/AM radio can be heard from Zamboanga, Cebu and Manila.
